Brief Description:  Wire bundles

Bundled wires ahead and behind the firewall. Generally secured other wires ahead of the firewall where needed.

Gapped the lower plugs to 0.032" and installed them finger tight. I'll be removing them later to crank the engine to check oil pressure. Routed the lower spark plug wires to avoid the exhaust pipes and any chaffing areas, cut them to length, installed the boots, crimped the end connectors, and installed them on the coil packs. Secured the plug wires where needed.

Routed the vent outlet of the air/oil seperator.

Drilled safety wire holes in the case drain valve body, it's open/close lever, and the extra NPT port. I'm using a Fumoto F-316L QwikValve screwed into the standard center VW 14M1.5 drain hole. The valve needed to be installed before the 1/4NPT plug (or oil temp sensor) otherwise the valve handle would interfere with the plug when installing.

Put two quarts of Valvoline VR1 20W-50 in the crankcase. I'll let it settle overnight. I'll look for puddles under the engine tomorrow and mark the low oil mark on the dipstick.
